RTU Relegated From Premier League
Real Tamale United has been relegated from the Ghana Premier League. The embattled football club lost 0-2 at home to Kumasi Asante Kotoko to confirm their demotion with two games still to play.
RTU are at the bottom of the GPL table with 31 points and 10 points away from safety. With two matches left to play, RTU can’t amass enough points to stay in Ghana’s top flight.
The team and Tano Bofoakwa whose relegation has also been confirmed will compete in the Division One League next season.
