ZABZUGU: NDC Defectees Pledge Support To Deputy Chief Of Staff

A youth group of the NDC in the Zabzugu Constituency have defected to the New Patriotic Party with a promise to deliver a hundred percent endorsement at next year’s elections to the ruling party and its parliamentary candidate who they hope will be Deputy Chief of Staff, Hajj Aliu Fawaz.
The Deputy Chief of Staff has declared his intention to contest the NPP’s parliamentary primaries slated for February next year and the Golinga Youth Group, a known opposition youth group, are convinced he will make a good Member of parliament considering the life-transforming intervention he is instituting in the area.
During a recent visit to the constituency to grace final funeral rites of Woribogulana Aminu, the Parliamentary candidate aspirant took time to interact with the youth group at their base Golangyili.
He assured them that with him as a parliamentary candidate and hopefully as MP after election 2024, the group would have no regret over their decision to cross carpet to join the New Patriotic Party.
The group said they are not joining the NPP to be passive members but will be active in canvassing support for Chief Fawaz to be elected first as parliamentary candidate and later as lawmaker for Zabzugu.

The Deputy Chief of Staff during his visit also donated brand new motorbikes to 15 electoral area coordinators to aid their task in mobilising the grassroot base of the party to ensure the agenda of breaking the eight is possible.
