UG Lecturers Declare Support For Kennedy Agyapong As Special Congress Looms

In a significant show of support, 17 esteemed lecturers from the prestigious University of Ghana paid a visit to Kennedy Agyapong, a prominent presidential candidate aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP at his residence over the weekend to interact and to declare their support.

The Legon Lecturers and Professionals For Ken is a group of academics and professionals including engineers, Quantity Surveyors, IT Specialists and Accountants who share in the pragmatic ideas of Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

Thrilled by the distinguished guests, the Assin Central MP who welcomed the University dons warmly expressed his gratitude for their presence, saying he was honoured by their visit. During their interaction, Mr. Agyapong took the opportunity to share his comprehensive vision for Ghana’s future focusing on key sectors such as tourism, agro processing, Agriculture and IT.

The gathering proved to be a fruitful exchange of ideas as the lecturers led by their Chairman, Dr. Alhassan Sulemana Anamzoya, not only extended their support to Kennedy Agyapong, but also provided valuable policy suggestions to strengthen his vision. Their expertise and extensive knowledge in various fields contributed significantly to enriching the discussion.

The NPP’s Presidential Candidate race is almost here as the first round of contest is slated for later this month where the 10 candidates who have expressed interest and vigorously campaigning across the country will be pruned to five for the main contest in November.
