Divine Kporha of Ketu South Hospital Wins National Best Nurse
A nursing officer currently practicing at the Ketu South Municipal Hospital has been adjudged 2023 best performing Nurse/midwife by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association.
At the Association’s fourth annual Awards and Dinner Night, Divine Kporha fought off competition from nominees from all sixteen regions to take home the coveted prize of a brand new Nissan Almera Saloon car which was presented to him by Akwamuhene Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III on behalf of GRNMA.
As a nurse, Divine has made significant impact at Ketu South Municipal Hospital, notably among them was revolutionizing the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) the facility.
His commitment to enhancing neonatal care led to securing funds for constructing a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Divine’s altruism extends to founding the Divine Kporha Charity Foundation, supporting underprivileged schools by providing essential resources. His multifaceted roles as a Clinical Facilitator, Researcher, and Project Officer have significantly contributed to the nursing community.
Divine is a graduate alumni of the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho.
