Five Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Owner of Jirapa Royal Cossy Hotel
Five People have been arrested in connection with the murder of Eric Johnson, a businessman and owner of Royal Cossy Hotel at Jirapa in the Upper West Region.
The suspects are Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix and Michael Klugey who are all workers at the Cossy Hill Hotel are in Police custody assisting the investigation together with suspect Kumbata Kwaku who was earlier on arrested.
According to a statement from the police, Mr. Johnson’s lifeless body was found on earlier today[Sunday, February 11], lying in a pool of blood in one of the rooms at the hotel.
Police upon visiting the scene commenced investigation, leading to the arrest of first suspect Kumbata Kwaku before four more staff of the hotel were picked up in the course of the day.
The Inspector-General of Police has deployed a team of investigators and experts led by the Director-General/CID to work with the Upper West Regional Police Command to ensure a thorough investigation into the incident.
