Residents of Adam Nana, a suburb of Kasoa in Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region have been thrown into a state of shock following the sudden death of a level 200 female student.

The young woman believed to be in her late 20s, met a heartbreaking end after being stabbed by her boyfriend in a violent altercation.

According to sources, the incident was triggered by rumours of infidelity between the young lady and her boyfriend. An informant, a mutual acquaintance, called the young woman to inform her that her boyfriend was allegedly cheating on her with another woman. This revelation stirred intense emotions, driving her to confront her boyfriend directly.

The young woman, overcome with rage and heartbreak, decided to act immediately. Without delay, she hired a local motorcycle taxi, commonly known as an ‘okada,’ and sped towards her boyfriend’s house, holding a sharp knife in her hand.

Upon her arrival, she rushed into her boyfriend’s room and stabbed him in the back. The sudden attack caught him off guard, but he fought back in an attempt to save his own life. He wrestled the knife away from her and stabbed her multiple times in the chest in a fit of rage and panic.

When neighbours heard the sounds of the altercation, they rushed to the scene, only to find the young woman lifeless and her boyfriend bleeding and distraught. Emergency services were called, but it was too late to save her. The police arrived shortly after to begin their investigation into the harrowing event.

This tragic event has sent shockwaves through the community of Adam Nana, leaving residents struggling to comprehend the sudden and violent loss of the young lady.
