Gbewaa Zulya Nagbegu Dancers To Represent Ghana At International Festival In Ivory Coast

Barring any unforeseen circumstance, selected dancers of the Gbewaa Zulya Nagbegu Dance Competition will participate in next month’s edition of the Festival Nation De l’Afrique(FENA) in Ivory coast.

The FENA, third of its kind, brings together All African countries and ten other countries from around the world to showcase their culture and traditions for Patrons.

This year, the festival will witness, for the first time, performance of traditional dancers from the Northern Region.

The Ghanaian contingent, made up of seven dancers and five drummers, will use the opportunity to showcase the rich history, traditions and dance of the people.

They are expected to leave Ghana via the Kotoka International Airport on May 18, 2023, to Ivory Coast where the event is due to take place.

The event, supported by Parara Entertainment and Moon Touch Travels And Tour Agency will be shown on selected TV stations in Ghana, even though, no specific TV network has been mentioned yet.
