Aliu Fawaz Commissions Seven Boreholes On Zabzugu Tour
In an intervention aimed at improving access to potable drinking water, A Deputy Chief of Staff has commissioned seven merchanised boreholes for use by inhabitants of selected communities in the Zabzugu Constituency of the Northern region.
The boreholes which are funded by Chief Fawaz Aliu are ten in all but seven have been completed and ready for use while three more are at advanced stages of completion.
The beneficiary communities include Bagmani, Kukani,Washagni, Benyenkundo, Kukoukpanga, Nakpali, Zabzugu-Kalegu and Zabzugu-Limam fong.
Chief Aliu Fawaz during a two-day tour of the Zabzugu Constituency made brief stops at the communities where he commissioned the water projects and also interacted with various chiefs and their people.
The Deputy Chief of Staff who hopes to contest on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party as Parliamentary Candidate in election 2024 told the people of his determination to better their lives and urged them to rally behind him when the time comes for the contest regarding who becomes their Member of Parliament.
During his tour, the Deputy Chief of Staff also interacted with JHS final year students who are due to start their BECE next Monday. While distributing sets of mathematical instruments to the candidates, chief Fawaz urged them to consider the coming week as the most important of their lives, saying doing so will help them to prepare adequately for the final exams.
Chief Aliu Fawaz’s two-day tour continues tomorrow and as part of activities, he will break growns for the construction of a toilet facility in the Zabzugu township. He will as well continue his interaction with the rest of final year students of Junior High Schools.
