Meet Arne Slot, New Manager of Liverpool Football Club
Arend Martijn Arne Slot shall replace Jurgen Klopp as Manager of English side, Liverpool from next season. The Dutch Professional football manager was born on September 17, 1978, meaning, he will be 47 in four months time.
As Professional Footballer, he played for FC Zwolle, NAC Breda, Sparta Rotterdam. He won two Eredivisie tittles with FC Zwolle over two stints in 2002 and 2012.
He started his Managerial Career as Assistant at FC Zwolle before he was appointment in 2021 to become head coach at current club, Feyenoord. In 2022, he led the club to UEFA Conference League Finals where they lost to Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma. He has won the Dutch Eredivisie title and the KNVB with Feyenoord.
For his personal life, Arne Slot is married to long term partner with whom they have two children.
