A-Plus Invited By Police To Help Unravel Ahmed Suale’s Murder
The Ghana Police Service has invited musician Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, to assist Police ongoing investigation into the death of undercover journalist, Ahmed-Hussein Suale. The police invitation follows A-Plus’ recent claims on social media that he has some information regarding the case.
Ahmed-Hussein Suale, who worked with ace investigative journalist, Anas Amereyaw Anas, was shot at multiple times by two unidentified men on motorbikes on January 16, 2019, while he was driving in his car out of the alley that led to his family residence at Madina in Accra.
Following his death, no suspect has so far been picked by the police. The issue, which became topical in the Ghanaian media and other international media outlets is still with the police.
However, A-Plus, in a recent live video on social media claimed to have information on Ahmed Suale’s death.
The Police in a statement today [Monday, July 15, 2024] said they are “pleased that Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng (A-Plus) has made indication that he has some information that could assist the ongoing investigation” on Ahmed Suale’s death.
