Deputy Chief Of Staff Distributes Ramadan Goodies To Identified Individuals And Groups
A Deputy Chief of Staff at the Presidency has presented hundreds of bags of rice and sugar to leadership of various setups in the region for onward distribution to selected beneficiaries.
The gesture by Alhaji Aliu Fawaz is meant to help the beneficiary individuals and groups go through the rest of the islamic holy month of Ramadan without having to worry about food, sugar and other related items which are very essential commodities in this sacred month.
Among the beneficiaries of his intervention are the Northern Regional Secretariat of the ruling New Patriotic Party whose package of fifty bags of rice and equal number of bags of sugar was received on behalf of the regional chairman by Alhaji Rashid COP, Organiser of the party in the region.
The Gbewaa Palace and other prominent chief palaces, various mosques and their leaders, some youth groups and prominent party faithful in the region also benefited from the benevolence of the chief of staff who has indicated his intention to contest as Parliament candidate of his party in the Zabzugu Constituency.
It is not the first time the Deputy Chief of Staff has made such an intervention and the hope is that his generosity will continue into the unforeseeable future.
He has in the past extended support of various kinds to the NPP, the muslim community, Christian Groups, Chiefs, youth groups, Opinion leaders and the media.
