Karaga MP Secures GES Appointments For Fifty Unemployed Constituents

By Kumbundoo Iddrisu

Some fifty qualified graduates in the Karaga Constituency of the Northern Region, after months of staying at home without jobs, have finally heaved a sigh of relief following their recruitment into the Ghana Education Service as Teaching Staff.

The recruitment of the new teachers follows the intervention and lobbying acumen of Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, MP for Karaga, whose vision is to ensure that no one is left out in his drive to economically empower both young and old for the acceleration of development.

The recruits who have various qualifications will be distributed to schools at all levels under the jurisdiction of the Karaga District Education Directorate where their expertise will come in handy as authorities continue to come up with ways to enhance the delivery of quality education.

At a ceremony held over the weekend, District Chief Executive, Iddrisu Mohammed Saani who handed out appointment letters to the beneficiaries on behalf of Hon. Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, admonished them to be of good conduct in their roles to ensure the effort of the lawmaker does not go in vain.

A recruit, Alhaji Abdulai Mohammed, later expressed his gratitude to the Member of Parliament, saying the appointment into the GES was a call to serve the country and that he and his colleagues were going to be of their professional best in their job.

“Congratulations to myself and other 49 Colleagues for being recruited into GES +1 fire service officer. Most grateful, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam Anta(MP),” he wrote on his Facebook page.
