N/R: NDC Suspends Media Engagements Over Death Of Communications Officer
The Opposition National Democratic Congress has suspended all forms of media engagement following the death of Issahaku Mohammed Awal Forkor, Communications Officer for Tamale South Constituency.
The decision according to a statement from the party’s regional Communications Bureau is to honour the memory of their fallen colleague who was a long-standing servant of the party.
“Therefore, upon the advice of our party leadership in the region, we are calling off all political related communications on various media platforms until the funeral rites are over on Sunday, April 30, 2023,” a statement signed by Abdallah Abu Safian, Deputy Regional Communications Officer of the NDC said.
Issahaku Mohammed Awal Forkor died on Thursday[April 28] and has since been buried in accordance with islamic tradition.
His final funeral rites is scheduled to take place in Tamale on Sunday, April 30.
