Tamale North MP Pays Fees For 125 Tertiary Students
The Member of Parliament for Tamale North Constituency, Hon. Alhassan Suhuyini, has today disbursed Ghc 90,000 to 125 students who are from the constituency but attends school in the various tertiary institutions across the country.
The beneficiary students received various sums which is expected to cater for their school fees and other expense.
The MP’s intervention which came from his share of the Common Fund represents his ongoing efforts aimed at providing support to those in need in all sectors.
The NDC’s Constituency Chairperson, Alhaji Alhassan Nayi, led the disbursemnt which took place today at the Sagnarigu Municipal Education office.
In an interview, some of the beneficiary students expressed gratitude to the Member of Parliament for his intervention. They said his decision to pay their fees has taken a burden off them and their parents.
