NDC Big Wigs Show Up At Nakpayili For the Opening of Maternity Block Constructed By CEO of Abuya Group Of Companies
Residents of Nakpayili in the Nanumba North Municipality today witnessed a historic event as leaders of the opposition NDC thronged the community to witness the commissioning of a ultramodern maternity block constructed by Alhaji Iddrisu Abuya, the founder and CEO of Abuya Group of Companies.
National Chairman, Asiedu Nketiah, Vice Chairperson, Prof. Joshua Alabi, Second Vice Chairman, Alhaji Sofo Azorka, Member of the party’s legal team, Abraham Amaliba as well as the regional leadership of the party.
Constructed under his Abuya foundation, the maternity block which comes with an operation room, delivery room is also equipped with state of the art equipemnt to ensure safety and comfort of women who visit the place.
It will provide relief to women in and around Nakpayili, who usually travel as far as Bimbilla, the municipal capital, to seek maternal healthcare services.
Laboring women suffering complications as a result of the arduous journey to the capital for delivery will become a thing of the past as pre and post natal services have been brought to the door steps of the people as a result of the construction of the maternity block.
Hajj Iddrisu Abuya, who did not speak much at the grand opening said aside enhancing healthcare, his aim for undertaking the intervention was to give back to the community that has given him so much.
