Bimbila-based Bead FM destroyed By Fire
Information reaching Majority News indicates that Bead FM, a radio station based in Bimbila in the Northern Region has been burnt by a fire outbreak.
A source at the radio station said Properties worth millions of cedis, including transmitters and studio equipment lost could have salvaged had the fire figters from the Ghana National Fire Service acted swiftly.
The cause of the inferno is not immediately established but sources say it could have been started as a result of electrical fault.
Meanwhile, with everything including the building housing the station lost to the disaster, management are unable to tell when operations will resume.
