With two Copa Americas, three UCL titles, three FIFA Club World Cups, six La Liga titles amongst others, the right-back had 44 titles to his name.
Messi, with his latest Copa America win, has officially overtaken his former teammate. The Argentine ace now has 45 titles to his name and is the most decorated player in the history of the game.
Of his 45 trophies, 39 have come at the club level and six with Argentina. 34 of his titles are from his time at Barcelona, while he won four with Paris Saint-Germain and one with Inter Miami.
