NDC to Launch National Campaign in Tamale Tomorrow

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to launch its national campaign tomorrow, Saturday, July 27, 2024, in Tamale, the Northern Regional capital.
The highly anticipated event will feature prominent party figures, including Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.
Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer for the NDC, announced that the launch will serve as a platform to elaborate on the party’s key policies and programs, notably the 24-hour economy policy.
This initiative aims to transform Ghana’s economy by ensuring round-the-clock productivity and services.
Preparations are in full swing at the Tamale Jubilee Park, the chosen venue for the launch. The park is adorned with party colors, while the city of Tamale itself is festooned with flags along major highways, indicating the NDC’s strong presence.
This launch marks the second significant event hosted by the opposition party in Tamale this week. Recently, the NDC organized a successful fundraising event in the Northern regional capital.
The fundraiser saw participation from the presidential candidate, national executives, business leaders, and parliamentarians, who made various donations to bolster the party’s campaign efforts for the upcoming 2024 elections.

In a related development, early this morning, Tamale South MP Haruna Iddrisu led the NDC’s national campaign team to Yendi to pay a courtesy call on the King of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II.

The visit allowed the NDC hierarchy to show respect to the king and officially inform him of the campaign launch taking place in his kingdom tomorrow.
