NEIP Coordinator Declares Bid for NDC Regional Youth Organiser

Abdul Gafaru Seidu Dambu, the Gushegu Constituency Youth Organiser of the ruling NDC, has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Northern Regional Youth Organiser in the party’s upcoming regional elections.

In a statement, Abdul Gafaru, who is also Northern Region’s Coordinator for NEIP, said his decision is driven by a commitment to serve, empower and champion the interests of young people in the Northern Region. He said his ambition is to build a stronger, united and vibrant youth wing capable of mobilising grassroots support and advancing the fortunes of the NDC.

Kanayo, as he is affectionately known, brings extensive experience in party organisation and youth leadership, having served as a serial caller for the NDC, Branch Secretary of Gushegu M/A JHS, and in various leadership positions within the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) at Tamale Polytechnic, including Treasurer, Vice President and President.

He has also served as Constituency Director of Elections for Gushegu, a member of the NDC Northern Regional Communications Team, and Spokesperson for the Northern Region Constituency Youth Organisers Caucus.

According to him, these responsibilities have equipped him with experience in grassroots mobilisation, electoral administration, political communication and strategic leadership.

Declaring his readiness to serve, Kanayo appealed to delegates for their support and mandate, pledging to dedicate his experience, energy and vision to the advancement of the NDC and the empowerment of the region’s youth.
