Gushegu MP Gives Motorbikes To Electoral Area Coordinators
All 25 electoral area coordinators of the New Patriotic Party in the Gushegu constituency have had their gods smile on them as they were today presented with brand new Apsonic motorbikes procured by their Member of Parliament, Hon. Hassan Sulemana Tampuli.
The gesture forms part of efforts by the Deputy Transport Minister to empower and to resource party officials to be better placed to discharge their duties, especially as the general elections beckons.
The constituency leadership handed over the motorbikes on behalf of the MP to the beneficiaries today at the the party’s secretariat in Gushegu with each person receiving a motorbike, accompanying documents, protective helmet and branded Apsonic souvenirs.
The Electoral Area coordinators have a primary mandate of mobilising grassroot support for the NPP and the intervention by Hon. Tampuli is expected to ease their mobility in and out of the communities.
The Communication Director of the Party, Mohammed Imoro, known popularly as Oluu Kpatinga, disclosed to Majority News that it is the intention of the MP to continue this effort until party officials at all levels are reourced adequately to discharge their duties without hindrance.
The Communication Director appealed to those who are yet to benefit from the MP’s benevolence to remain patient as their turn will soon come.
In an interview, some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Member of Parliament for the support and promised to work tirelessly to ensure the lawmaker and the NPP retain power at next year’s polls.
