Former Minister Endorses Tahiru Moomen for NPP National Treasurer
Former Upper West Regional Minister, Dr Bin Salih Hafiz, has endorsed the candidature of Dr Issahaku Tahiru Moomen for the position of National Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Dr Hafiz, who served as Upper West Regional Minister from 2017 to 2025, said his endorsement was based on his personal experience working closely with Dr Moomen, who served as Mayor of Wa during his tenure as Regional Minister.
In a post on Facebook, Dr Hafiz described Dr Moomen as competent, honest and dedicated to public service. He said he was convinced that Dr Moomen possessed the vision and capability to serve as an effective and efficient National Treasurer of the NPP.
He therefore gave Dr Moomen his “full, unequivocal endorsement” and urged NPP delegates to vote for him in the party’s upcoming National Delegates Conference.
Dr. Moomen is contesting the National Treasurer position alongside three others. He is number 3 on the ballot and his campaign motto is “Integrity First.”
