Parara Declares Himself Most Vibrant for NPP Regional Youth Organiser
Media practitioner and politician, Mohammed Naporo Abubakari, popularly known as DJ Parara, has declared himself the most vibrant candidate to lead the youth wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region.
Speaking to journalists on Friday after filing his nomination forms at the NPP Northern Regional Secretariat, DJ Parara expressed confidence that his popularity, experience and proven track record make him the best person to serve as the party’s next Northern Regional Youth Organiser.
According to him, he is the most popular among all the contenders and has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the growth of the party over the years.
The former Mion Constituency Youth Organiser said his record in office speaks for itself, citing his personal investment in the party’s activities, including the donation of 15 motorbikes from his own resources to support mobilisation and other party operations within the constituency.
He also indicated that he has facilitated employment opportunities for dozens of young people, not only in the Mion Constituency but across the Northern Region, describing youth empowerment as one of his greatest achievements.
DJ Parara attributed the NPP’s defeat in the 2024 general election largely to growing dissatisfaction among the youth, stressing that reconnecting with young people would be crucial to the party’s chances in the 2028 elections.
He said he possesses a clear blueprint to restore the confidence of the youth in the party through effective mobilisation, empowerment initiatives and active engagement with the grassroots.
The aspiring Northern Regional Youth Organiser appealed to delegates to entrust him with the mandate, assuring them that he would work tirelessly to rebuild the youth front and position the NPP for victory in the 2028 general election.
